Hi Trainfirefighter Students,

We have an important update to share with you. As part of our commitment to continually improve your learning experience, we will be upgrading our platform with new features and a fresh new look to our learning management system (LMS).  For example, the courses will be more user-friendly, run more smoothly, and be much faster.  It will increase reliability and security for our users.  Although the website won’t change, the login for the LMS will change.  The classes may look different, but the content is the same.  Your progress will not start over.   

Here’s what you need to know:

Upgrade Schedule: The upgrade is scheduled to begin on Wednesday, August 26th, at 05:00 PM PDT, and we anticipate completing it by Thursday, August 27th, at 12:00 PM PDT.

Maintenance Mode: During the upgrade process, the website and LMS (your online courses) will be temporarily unavailable as we work behind the scenes to implement the changes.

Important – do not log in during maintenance: While we’re testing, the system may briefly appear to be back online. Please do not log in if this happens – any data you enter or changes you make will be lost when we complete the migration. Wait until the scheduled maintenance window ends, or until you receive an official confirmation email before accessing the platform.

Login Information: Once the upgrade is finished, you can access the platform at https://academy.trainfirefighters.com/. However, you will need to reset your password via the Forgot Your Password? link.
